I agree that this is true in many cases. It’s like certain needs to do things were created out of thin air, and then optimized ways to do those unnecessary things were then created. Spending hours pushing against a wall might be tough, but will also not result in anything to show for.
Good point. Just because something is hard doesn’t mean it needs to be done.
There’s a related quote which goes something like “computers help people make more mistakes faster than ever before”.
Wouldn’t give up my computer though ;)
